International Dance Day (2015)


Celebrating contemporary dance in Waikato

International Dance Day was introduced in 1982 by the International Dance Committee -ITI, UNESCO. The day is celebrated on the 29th of April around the world across political, cultural and ethical boundaries. The main purpose of Dance Day events is to attract the attention of the wider public to the art of dance.
